Howdy! I'm JGlotr, and this here is my personal web page-- It's a silly little corner of the internet

This website, being what it is, is a collection of all of the silly things that I get up to, be they hobbies, personal projects, or just me rambling about something or other!

About Me : )

I have a lot of hobbies and interests (Perhaps too many). I like film photography, playing board games, programming, generally messing around with computers, reading, electronics repair, playing my trombone, repairing watches and clocks, and so much more.

In regards to technological projects (Indeed, why some people may have found this page), most of my background comes from messing around with computers in High School (Mainly by way of fishing them out of the local dump), and by way of a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

I like cats quite a lot, and even have one to which I call my own! Her name is Cassiopeia (Cassie for short), and she is a persian calico (So quite fluffy indeed). There are other pictures of her and older cats of mine on this webpage, as well as some others I know!

News of Note?

May 27th, 2026: New Website Implementation! After a two day long outage, in which multiple servers were completely reconfigured, this new website is now live! It's not completely done as of yet, but we might as well upload it! : ) The old website is still available at http://classic.jglotr.org, should you wish to view it, but note that it will likely not be updated with frequency.

April 28th, 2026: New Website! If you havn't noticed (or are new around here), this website is new! It's a significant improvement over the old website, which was simply a static HTML page, reflective of my skills as a web developer. Hopefully this new page captures some of the whimsy I so aspire to have.
